The Freemans learned of Helping Nature Heal's landscaping and restoration through friends. "We have a house in the woods," Tim says, "It didn't make sense to have lawns." The couple visited some projects done by HNH and were sold. "We had a vision, but we didn't know about woodchip paths . . . or about getting plant material. We'd been here for four months and couldn't get a weed to grow!"
