Working with nature in Nova Scotia & beyond

"We need more of this kind of sensitive landscaping in our world. Rosmarie Bradley and her business, Helping Nature Heal, are doing great things in Lunenburg County.

"The Acadian Forest restoration project at the Bayview School in Mahone Bay, for example, is fantastic from both ecological and educational points of view.

"It was very impressive to see all those Grade Sixers with their hands and feet in the mud planting trees for the future . . .

". . . In addition to promoting the ecological benefits of restoring natural landscapes, Rosmarie demonstrates how native plants can be used in innovative horticultural design.

Rosmarie is guest speaker at
Healthy Workplace Committee's Lunch & Learn

"Thank You for yesterday. We all really enjoyed it and I've heard a lot of great feedback. We are doing a seed planting lunch in May and we are also going to make "beautiful" hats.

You were very inspiring and people loved the soothing sound of your voice. Oh, I could go on and on, but as my Grandmother would say "I don't want you to get a swollen head!"

"Rosmarie Bradley is an invaluable asset to Second Story Women's Centre. Rosmarie volunteers her time, using her Horticultural Therapy training, to offer workshops to benefit women.

"Rosmarie is a fount of information on a wide range of topics from using the cycles of the moon to improve garden productivity, to the basics of gardening and landscape design, to creating crafts and gifts using natural products. Her boundless energy and upbeat outlook make her the 'Pollyanna of Gardening.'

"Rosmarie teaches by the hands-on method and uses tours of existing farms, gardens, and natural sites to illustrate her concepts. By sharing her amazing creativity, she gives women the opportunity to grow and have fun at the same time. Everyone from the first time gardener to the seasoned grower learns in the warm and inclusive environment she nurtures.
