HNH Educational Services: Learning in Nova Scotia & beyond
Rosmarie Lohnes is helping to spread the word - to keep the environmental movement growing.
She sees her role as a conduit, where information flows, questions are asked - and answered -
learning in Nova Scotia and beyond.
From left: Helping Nature Heal's Rosmarie Lohnes leads a group through an HNH reforestation project; at her fun workshop, participants were delighted to build and take home bird feeders out of found objects; and she prepares to head out to Clay Island with 60 enthusiasts including Grade 5 students, teachers, parents, volunteers and members of the Chester Chapter, Nova Scotia Nature Trust. On the island, she led two groups on hikes through the woods, pausing to introduce them to the beauty of the forest.
